Dr. Meera Komarraju has been chosen to participate in a week-long working conference on the future of undergraduate psychology, sponsored by the American Psychological Association.
Dr. Lisabeth DiLalla has been named a Fellow of the Association for Psychological Science.
Dr. Peggy Stockdale has been named a Fellow of the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues (Division 9) of the American Psychological Association.
Dr. Kathie Chwalisz has been named a Fellow of the Society of Counseling Psychology (Division 17) of the American Psychological Association.
Dr. Rheeda Walker has been selected for the 2007-2008 African American Mental Health Research Scientist (AAMHRS) Grant-Mentoring Program, funded by NIMH.
Dr. Meera Komarraju is the 2007 recipient of the Outstanding Faculty Member Teaching in the Core Curriculum.
Dr. Michael Young was awarded an Excellence Through Commitment Teaching Enhancement award for summer 2007.
Dr. Meera Komarraju, Dr. Rheeda Walker, and Dr. Yu-Wei Wang all received 2007-08 Seed Grants from SIU's Office of Research Development and Administration (ORDA).
Dr. Rebecca Weston's article (with Paul Gore) entitled "A Brief Guide to Structural Equation Modeling," has been selected as the recipient of The Counseling Psychologist's 2006 Outstanding Contribution Award.
