Biosketch	Stephen Dollinger is Professor and Distinguished Teacher in Psychology, and Director of the Clinical Psychology Program at SIUC. A native St. Louisan, he earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Notre Dame, doctorate at University of Missouri at Columbia, and interned at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. A fellow of the APA Divisions of Clinical Psychology (12) and Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology (53), he has served on the editorial boards of several personality-social and clinical-child journals. His research interests have included children's internalizing disorders (e.g., sleep problems, reactions to a lightning-strike trauma); and psychological-mindedness of children and adults. Recent projects address the related topics of individuality, openness, values, and creativity, particularly as studied through creative drawings, short stories and photographic essays about the self. He also has interests in the psychology of religion and spirituality. In 2001, he was recipient of the SIUC Outstanding Teaching Award. Licensed in Illinois, he also serves as a practicum supervisor.
