Biosketch


Benjamin F. Rodriguez is Associate Professor at SIUC. Born and raised in West Virginia, he earned his BA at Yale University and PhD at Catholic University of America. He completed his pre-doctoral internship at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in White River Junction, VT and a post-doctoral fellowship at Brown University Consortium. Dr. Rodriguez's research interests include anxiety disorders in adults, specifically social anxiety disorder (SAD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); cognitive/attentional aspects of anxiety and depressive conditions; and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Dr. Rodriguez has published in a variety of psychological and psychiatric journals including Behaviour Research and Therapy, Cognitive Therapy and Research, Comprehensive Psychiatry, Journal of Anxiety Disorders and Journal of Traumatic Stress .
