Peggy Stockdale, (Ph.D. 1990, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Kansas State University; M.L.S. 2007, SIUC), is a Professor and the Applied Psychology Program Director in the Department of Psychology. She is an Industrial and Organizational Psychologist and a member of the Applied Psychology program in the Department of Psychology at SIUC. Her research interests concern gender issues in the workplace, especially sexual harassment and sex discrimination, law and psychology, and organizational attitudes. She has co-authored and edited five books, and her research articles have appeared in professional journals such as Psychology, Public Policy and the Law, Journal of Vocational Psychology, Psychology of Women Quarterly, and Basic and Applied Social Psychology . She consults with organizations on sexual harassment (expert witnessing, training, surveying), general job attitudes, and training and development. Dr. Stockdale was recently named a Fellow of Division 9 (Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues) of the American Psychological Association. |
