The
Developmental Science Lab (DSL) was created in 2000 to study how
both
real and artificial systems learn to perceive, think, and act.
Our
research includes work with infants, children, and adults, as
well as computer models and robot simulations. To learn more
about some of the projects we are currently conducting, click

Located
in the Psychology Department at Southern Illiniois University
Carbondale,
the DSL is a state-of-the-art research facility for investigating
vision, memory, attention, and motor control. The lab is directed
by Dr. Matthew Schlesinger and includes a team of graduate and
undergraduate researchers. To learn more about the people at the
DSL, click here.
