* All students receive funding
** Placed in APA accredited, funded internships
In the last 7 years, 49 students were matriculated. Of those students, 14 (28%) have completed their degrees and four (8%) have left the program voluntarily for academic or personal reasons. All of the graduates who entered since 2000 entered with a Bachelor’s degree, and the mean time to degree completion was 5.28 years (median 5 years). Four (8%) students are currently ABD (all but dissertation), three who entered the program in 2000 and one who entered in 2002.
Licensure: The vast majority of our graduates go on to be licensed as psychologists. There were 45 graduates who have been license eligible in the last decade (i.e., graduated between 1997 and 2005). As of December of 2007, 34 (76%) were verified to be licensed in at least one state or Canadian province, one graduate was seeking licensure, and one graduate (a community college professor) had chosen not to seek licensure. Of the nine additional graduates whose licensure has not yet been verified, six are working as psychologists (two of whom are practicing in other countries) and three as academics. Therefore, the estimated licensure rate for our graduates is 40/45 (89%).
