Scholarships and Awards
 

The Psychology Department has no awards or scholarships for incoming students.  Contact Financial Aid Services for information on financial assistance and scholarships to help pay for your schooling.

The Psychology Department does have several awards given to graduating seniors.  Most of these include a small monetary award or a gift certificate.

The Psychology Honor Student Award is given to an outstanding graduating senior.

Gordon F. Pitz Research Award  is given to the best Psychology Honors project (Psyc499).

James H. McHose Seniors Awards are given to graduating seniors with outstanding academic records.

Robert C. Radtke Leadership Awards are given to juniors or seniors for outstanding citizenship and service. 

Also, each year Psychology nominates 5 to 7 of its junior and senior undergraduates for COLA-wide or campus-wide scholarships (most include a monetary award of $200-$500).
