The Psychology Department at SIUC provides a challenging curriculum within a student-centered environment.

At the undergraduate level, we offer a broad and flexible curriculum to both majors and non-majors, preparing our BA graduates for life, for diverse work settings, and for graduate education in a variety of fields.

At the graduate level, we offer top-notch doctoral training in four main specializations: applied research psychology, brain and cognitive sciences, clinical psychology (adult & child specializations), and counseling psychology.  The latter two programs have maintained APA accreditation continuously for decades.  Placement of doctoral graduates in internships, post-doctoral training, and professional positions is extremely high and attests to the quality of training.

An accomplished and lively faculty not only provide a supportive environment for students, but also maintain a high level of influential scholarship.
